The HowtoLIfeGood Manifesto
Here is what we believe:
1. We are not broken and in need of healing, but whole and in process.
2. We are all unique, so we should clarify our specific talents and strengths.
3. We cultivate LONG-TERM transformation, instead of short-term gains or breakthroughs.
4. We use unorthodox (but proven effective) techniques to assist in personal growth.
5. We believe emotional healing comes through compassion and connection.
6. We believe in balancing emotional healing through revelations with exercises to undergird the breakthroughs.
7. Shame is the primary driver of dysfunction, anxiety, and fear...and the antidote to shame is to abolish it.
8. People are ultimately responsible for their own situations, and if they internally change, their circumstances will change.
9. Creating a healthy and enjoyable life is possible, and is a far more straightforward process than most people believe.
10. False responsibility is the chief hallmark of trauma, abuse, or neglect. We help people identify the emotions and atmospheres that are NOT theirs (and help them remove them), so they can walk in personal freedom.
12. We believe that present day dysfunctions are simply outdated adaptations.
